The new quiz I am starting is pretty simple and you have a chance, albeit a small one, to win over 2 million Starbucks. The rules are:
1. There are four rounds open to the general public. In each one there are seven video game questions. In each question, I give four clues as to the correct answer. If you answer it correctly you receive 5,000 Starbucks.
2. In the fourth round the value for each question doubles to 10,000 Starbucks. The two highest scores over the course of the four rounds play in a playoff game to decide who has the chance to play for 2 million additional Starbucks.
The rules for the tiebreaker round are as follows:
1. I will determine which player plays first by a toss of the chance cube. In this round, questions will have an increasing number of correct answers, starting at 4 and increasing to 6, 8, 10, and so on, until one player misses twice. Answer banks will not be provided.
2. Players will alternate naming off answers until all the answers are named or until someone misses; at this point a new question will be given.
3. If one player starts one question, the other player will start the next one, and play will alternate like so until the game is over.
The rules for the final round are as follows:
1. Each round will consist of six questions like those in the first round. Like on "The $25,000 Pyramid" the player must either give the correct answer or pass before the next clue is given. These rounds may last no longer than 168 hours.
2. In the first round, the contestant has a chance to win 500,000 Starbucks; that can be increased to 1 million and finally 2 million in the second and third rounds. The contestant may stop after any round but not in the middle of a round.
3. To be helpful, I will equip the contestant with seven add-ons, which add one clue to the list of four clues provided in a question. These may be spread among the three rounds and used on any question.
Later on, I will post the first round of questions.
