#1: Gameshark does not work on SNES.

#2: I already said I don't want it for cheating. I don't need to cheat, I've beaten almost every SNES game I have, especially Earthbound, which is why I want it the most. I want to play the Sound Test in Earthbound. It would be helpful in making a soundtrack, and I could get to hear all the songs that were only used in Mother 2 (the Japanese version of EB.)

Earthbound is challenging, that's for sure. One thing I didn't like about that site is that it implied that Earthbound is easy. He said something about the differences between Mother 2 and Earthbound, and he said Mother 2 was a bit more difficult because he actually died in that version. I remember getting the axe quite a bit in that game! Unless this guy used a Game Genie or spent incredible amounts of time levelling up, there's no way I can believe he didn't die at least once.

Yeah, the bosses in Earthbound are kind of easy if you know what you're doing when you get to them. The only one I can ever recall losing to is Kraken. I think Pokey is the hardest, but I've never lost to him, either. I died several times after the part where Paula gets kidnapped in the department store. Those enemies in the department store were really tough. I was not expecting Paula to get kidnapped, so I had not levelled up! Not only that, but she had my Franklin Badge, so I could not reflect lightning from the Guitar and Record enemies!! Also, with only Ness and Jeff, Moonside is a REAL pain! I also had a hard time getting through that maze on the way to the Sea of Eden in Magicant! And when you have to go through Onett to get the meteroite piece, it is really difficult.
