Interesting question (heh, only I would find it that interesting). The answer you'll commonly find would be a true reflection of the times. Look back in history and you'll find that it was actually unusual for a man to not have long hair. Just look at artwork from the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th centuries. Now men with long hair are considered to be odd. My opinion? I like men with hair to their jaw or shoulders, but not any longer. Actually, I prefer it. But that's only if they can pull it off. If not, they shouldn't even bother.
