FO's scariest game was Metroid 2. I never knew when one of those Metroid mutations would be hiding around a corner. I'd be running along a passageway, and one would come flying out of nowhere, and attack me!! Sometimes, I wouldn't have enough energy and missiles to win, either! Plus, those creatures were just damn scary, and they sounded scary, and the game is dark and makes me feel claustrophobic at times!

The most atmospheric game for me is Final Fantasy 3(6). Even though I haven't played it in a few years, I can remember, exactly what each and every place in that game looks like, and even remember the music associated with it. There's so many little details in the graphics. Overall, I loved the semi-dark look of the world. And I remembered how ANGRY I was when the world blew up halfway through and everything was changed and destroyed! But it made me happy when I found out some places had not been affected as badly, and were still there! It was like a real world to me. I haven't really played any other RPG I've gotten that kind of atmospheric feeling from. The only other one that comes close is Secret of Mana.
