Well, on the positive side, Final Fantasy Tactics is almost all battles, and the overworld map is very straightforward (it's just a bunch of locales connected by paths... kind of like SMB3's map. It's works exactly like Tactics Ogre's map). This means you won't ever save and wonder where in the world you saved. You also won't need to wonder about what quest you need to do next, because battles that advance the story are shown on the map in red. However, the story is sort of confusing. But, Final Fantasy Tactics has a neat feature that keeps track of all the plot points you've seen so far, and it also has descriptions of characters and things like that. All this helps getting into the game after being gone awhile.

Nevertheless, despite all that, I still think I would caution anyone with little time for videogames away from Final Fantasy Tactics. It's a really long game. HOWEVER, for everyone who enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics, I would highly recommend Tactics Ogre. I've probably said that before, but I have no idea how many Final Fantasy Tactics fans here played Tactics Ogre.
