I was told by a tech dude while calling Nintendo's 800 numberthat the memory chips in N64 game cartridges last forever. That's cool. But the memory cards are battery. I don't know bout theplaystation ones though.

Before the N64 was made I wasreading about the Controller memory packs. I wanted them to insteadmake the N64 use IBM 3.5 computer diskettes. That woulda beenso much cheaper for us, just get a few diskettes for some changeinstead of Controller packs for 20 bucks each.

I rememberposting that suggestion idea on the Nsider BBS and someone posted"But I use a Mac! I don't use IBM, that's not fair!"Who said you needed an IBM PC to buy a few IBM diskettes?
