10 and 11. Both technologies are limited by their connections to the computer. Unless you have a special, expensive modem, the fastest you could ever hope to get is 10Mbs. However, the maximum theoretical speed of DSL is 55Mbs (which is VDSL). Cable depends on how much bandwidth is available at that point in time, but the maximum theoretical bandwidth is around 30Mbs.
